New everything

 This weekend was a bit hectic: Dad went back overseas, my brother and sister-in-law went home, etc.  

My brother and I made a quick Goodwill run on Saturday morning, looking for work shirts for him.  I found a fabric remnant--I don't have a picture yet--of rust, cream, and black rectangular check, with tiny black cows in the cream blocks.  It's very 1980's but I think I could use it for trim on a dress.  Maybe a rust-colored dress, with black rick-rack.
