Well, it all came tumbling down this weekend.

I can't go into details now because it will spoil a surprise if certain people stumble upon this blog, but my Hallowe'en sewing, predictably, came off the rails when I got caught up in a Christmas knitting scheme.  I'm not an ambitious knitter but I'm still more ambitious than I am fast, so I have to start this (voluminous, but super basic) project now or definitely risk having it finished sometime around Easter.  My mother and I are going in together on two variants of said project, which is encouraging but also distracting.  I'll tell all about it later this year.
