I recently saw a picture of Anne Adams 4913 (1941) on Newspapers dot com. I loved it but of course I couldn't find a copy online . . .
. . . but then I realized that the reason I loved it was that it was pretty much Marian Martin 9928, the Telephone Girl dress from 2015. Which I already own and on which I have already done all the fitting.
I find myself wearing 9928 a lot so of course I ordered more fabric--thank you, eQuilter survey gift certificates!--and started a new version, altered into 4913.
