I got this 1985 Simplicity Super Saver pattern . . . somewhere.
This is totally the kind of fluffy pattern I love/hate and would totally wear. But I feel like when you choose a pattern like this, it's fun to make it out of something ironic.
Something like David Textiles skulls and roses:
Yeah.
Anyway, I Xeroxed the bodice pieces--the skirt is a gentle semicircle but I'll be using rectangles because of the stripes--this weekend and did some adjustments: Bodice length, full upper back, low bust point, small full-bust adjustment.
The test muslin looked good. It's not supposed to be that fitted.
So, on to the fashion fabric . . .
