Simplicity 1996 9880 Pink Blob Fabric

I got this Concord "pink blob" cotton-poly at an antique mall, of all places, and whipped up this dress to practice all-in-one facings.  The facings are blue cotton-poly scrap I got from Galen/Spoons' mom.

You know you've been sewing awhile when you iron the fabric and think, "Hmm, that smells like cotton-polyester."  It smells different than cotton.

I messed up and cut the front on the fold when I meant to cut a button overlap, so I ended up cutting it open and adding a button band.  It worked pretty well despite the squirrelly fabric--cotton-poly is a pain to work with.
