I've made a series of quilts that involved strips of brightly-colored fabric, so I have a ridiculous box of sort of candy-colored fabrics that I can't quite seem to use up.
So . . . experimental quilt.
All the blocks' dimensions are multiples of four (4 x 4, 4 x 8, 4 x 12, 4 x 16, 8 x 8, 8 x 12, etc.) and they'll get pieced together into something that is, as best I can describe it, both a rail fence and a crazy quilt.
So far, I like the idea and the way it's turning out but I'm really, really, over these fabrics so this one will probably be a donation quilt and I'll try it again for myself with a different set of scraps.
They don't fit together yet because of the seam allowances, but they will.
