I've been a shamefully lazy blogger.
I have been up to stuff, though. Observe:
1) Marian Martin 9359 (undated, circa 1948) in two versions. I adore this pattern so much that I'm tempted to use it for every piece of fabric I buy, but I have to make myself move on.
2) Simplicity 4015 (1952). Meh. Nothing wrong with the pattern itself, I just think that it's not my thing. The bodice doesn't fit me as well as I'd like and the skirt is a little overwhelming. I think I like the narrower 1940's skirts better.
3) Marian Martin 9253 (undated; known examples postmarked 1957), on the cutting board.
