Wendish Noodles

Recipe bonus since it's Friday.

I make these at home on occasion, but I might as well give y'all the recipe straight from the horse's mouth.

I'm not Wendish. I got this maybe ten or fifteen years ago when I was at an art/music festival at Winedale, Texas (which, sadly, is no longer open to the public). The Texas Wendish Heritage Society people were there selling bowls of noodles and handing out the recipe. This is actually a very manageable amount of dough--you can easily mix it, roll it out, and cut it while you're waiting for your stock to heat up.

I highly recommend the nutmeg. Small thing, big difference.
