Anne Adams 4834 (1978 postmark)

Most of my patterns are 1940's through mid-1950's, but I have a few that are 1970's, which have a more modern cut that doesn't need as much alteration. This is one that's on the list to be made, when I have time. I plan to use the mauve calico with pink roses that Sheila gave me.

I had originally planned to use cream-colored eyelet trim . . .

but then I went back and looked at the fabric, and it's lighter than I remembered, and has dark burgundy leaf/bud-type accents, so now I think it ought to have dark eyelet or ruffle trim (probably ruffle; I'll probably have to make it myself) with pink piping for detail, so it doesn't turn into a sea of dull purple.

I am loving this drawing pad, though, as lame as I am with it.
