I'm officially back into the measurements that will put me in a size 18 dress pattern, which means I either don't have to resize most of my favorite sewing patterns, or will have to resize them a lot less. Except for the few that were too big--they'll have to be scaled down more. I don't have many that are too big, though; large size vintage patterns are harder to find.
(That's a pre-1957 size 18. I think that's a modern pattern size 14. I'm not sure what that is in ready-to-wear. Medium? Most of my RTW is the kind of thing that doesn't come in numerical sizes.)
Dad gets home today for Christmas and New Years. Now I'm off to run a zillion errands.
