I've yet to buy any ready-made vintage-look clothing, but the reasons cited are the same reasons I sew my own: I'm sick of paying for flimsily-made clothing. I'm sick of paying for things that don't really fit because I'm curvier than average, but am not plus-sized. I'm sick of finding only things that are too "old" for me or are too revealing. I love that vintage-look clothes can look neat and attractive without being either dowdy or overly sexy.
