Mail order 2040 (circa 1950): Juniors' fitted blouse and tiered peasant skirt. I particularly like the blouse (OK, I like the skirt, too, but I didn't really need a pattern for it).
Mail order 2574 (circa 1950): I love the band-sleeved blouse. I bought a green-plaid-with-Lurex shirt to wear to Tanzania and I might try to cut it down into this blouse when I get home. Sleeve and front bands on the bias, no?I also love that skirt with its ostentatious, saddle-bag, pockets.
