New York 1263: Part II: Muslin

Adding width to the back:


The front.  It's still a little full but I'm not sure how much more I can take out without messing up the side-seams and the cap sleeve, so I'll probably just leave it.  The overall bust measurement is still that big, but at least now it's better distributed between the back and front:


The back.  This is much better.  The pattern piece was a good inch and a half too narrow, and the sample blouse was passable when at rest but tight if I moved my arms.  This is a bit snug when I reach forward but much better than the sample, and much better than it would have been without the extra width.  Note the darts in the top to make the shoulder seams match up again:
