I ended up grocery shopping instead of sewing last night, but I got this far on the "official" blouse on Tuesday. This looks better in real life; nothing has been ironed yet and stuff isn't tacked down and it's just a general hot mess, but it will all shape up, I swear.

I think splitting up the waist tucks will really help the shape.
The back, which already looks neater with two smaller tucks instead of one big one:
