Productive lunch hour.  I now have cuff buttons . . .

 . . . and false-French seamed armscyes.

I'm using the thread off of a bobbin that my mother had left over (the matching spool ran out while the bobbin was still full).  You can see the bobbin in the cuff-button picture.  It's from her 1950's Singer Featherweight; they have fabulous heavy, metal, bobbins.
