Listening: Whiskeytown
I've been in a sewing slump lately and this has already had the fitting done, so it's an easier project, and it's one that I'll wear a lot this summer. I got the gores cut and partly assembled last night:
I finally did finish the seams on Hollywood 1089, the Election Day dress, but still haven't worn her again. She needs a happy even to wipe out the bad karma.
I had this happy green with white polka dots sitting around--I've considered it for several projects but never settled on one. I'm not sure why I had so much of it in the first place, really. Anyway, it's a good all-purpose print that will look adorable with white rick-rack, and the fabric itself is good quality and should wear well.
