I was tired yesterday and 5492 is giving me fits so I started something easy instead. This is an off-red calico prairie skirt, inspired by this 1880s doll I saw online (she's wearing a dress, though). The camisole said it would look great with it.
The fabric is Denyse Schmidt Winter Walk Sweet Bloom Bark (a faded, slightly orange, red):
I planned a 30" skirt with a 8" or so flounce and side-seam pockets. I got 2 1/2 yards and had just the barest amount of scrap left; I guessed perfectly.
