This was the secret project that I couldn't share yet: My supervisor at work retired and I made him a lap quilt.
It's one big Log Cabin block like I did for my nephew's baby quilt. Supervisor is interested in Japan so a few of the fabrics are actually from Japan and the rest are (more affordable) ones that had some design cues from Japanese fabrics. I'm really pleased with the way it came out.
