I've realized that almost everything I want to sew these days is some version of 9880. Long, short, long sleeves, short sleeves, no sleeves, cap sleeves, puffy sleeves, tiered skirt, calico, chambray, patchwork, whatever.
I guess since I don't have a lot of sewing time, sewing something from a pattern I can assemble in my sleep is appealing. Also, this is a dress I can wear anywhere--home, work, "grubbies" (family term for clothes you'd wear to do dirty jobs), etc.
I recently became entranced with Sew Liberated's Hinterland dress . . . and then I realized it's basically 9880.
