For those of you who Instagram, my regular IG is littleblackcar. It's a mixed bag of . . . stuff.
I have a second IG specifically for vintage patterns: VintagePatternDatingProject.
I have a Newspapers dot com account and I'm not afraid to use it: I'm scouring it for mail-order pattern ads and posting images with years, since it can be so hard to find years for Anne Adams, Marian Martin, Clotilde/Claudette/Georgette/pattern bureau patterns.
Anne Adams 4221 (1942), Marian Martin 9465 (1943), and Anne Adams 4709 (1944).
I take requests! If you have an American mail order pattern and can't find the date, shoot me a PM and an image, or at least enough of an image/description that I can identify it.
